Turkey: Arrest of 16 people accused of links to ISIS

The office of the Turkish governor of Ankara said that on Tuesday, the Turkish police arrested 16 people accused of having links with the ISIS terrorist organization.
The arrest came after a clash between the police and protesters who used sticks and stones while trying to close an unlicensed store. The office stated that the police tried last night to close the store in the southeastern city of Bingol, adding that the store supports the activities of the terrorist organization in the country.
Video footage of the operation showed dozens of people clashing with the police using sticks, while gunshots were heard.
