WHO: 75% of Yemeni children suffer from chronic malnutrition
The World Health Organization announced that 75% of Yemeni children suffer from chronic malnutrition.
The organization stated in a tweet on Twitter that 16.2 million Yemenis, out of 30 million people, suffer from food insecurity.
The organization added that “three out of four Yemeni children suffer from this condition,” stressing that 75% of Yemeni children suffer from chronic malnutrition.
Last October, the UN Security Council expressed, in a statement, its grave concern over the dire humanitarian situation in Yemen, including hunger and the increasing risk of widespread famine.
