Start of the Fatimid mourning ceremonies at Husseiniyat Al Yasin in Sydney, Australia


The Mosque and Husseiniyah of Al Yasin, affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in Sydney, Australia, began the Fatimid mourning ceremonies on the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra, peace be upon her, according to the narration of forty days.
The ceremonies are held on a weekly basis, in the presence and participation of a group of Ahlulbayt followers.
The mourning ceremonies began on Saturday, and included the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, congregational prayers, and two lectures in Arabic and English.
The lectures shed light on the blessed biography of Lady Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, and the injustice and aggression she was subjected to by the enemies of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
