With the start of the Frankfurt International Book Fair, the main hall witnessed, for the first time, the recitation of verses from the Noble Qur’an that thrilled the audience.
Local agencies quoted Aslamish Zeitung saying that this year’s book fair in Frankfurt was held with the participation of thousands of people interested in literature.
The fair, which was held last year on a limited scale due to the Corona crisis, opened its doors to thousands of its visitors, lovers of literature, culture and science.
The Friday imam at the Binzberg Mosque described reciting the Qur’an as the way to human salvation, saying, “The Qur’an is the holy book of Muslims, and in every surah it mentions God’s mercy and his call to people to tolerance, peace and non-violence.” He continued, “The Qur’an should not be misused for political purposes and misinterpreted, and respect and love for others should be taken as one of the basic concepts of the Qur’an.”
