Grand Ayatollah Shirazi considers attempts to question the Husseini rituals a “satanic movement” whose end is shame and disgrace
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, considered the attempts to discredit the holy rituals of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, as a satanic movement intended to obliterate and erase the Imam’s blessed cause in the hearts of his lovers, describing the skeptics of the rituals and the great cause as human demons.
In his lecture to the mourners at the end of the painful Ashura season, His Eminence said that “the skeptics of the holy Husseini rituals made efforts to erase it, meaning that it is forgotten and disappears and gradually becomes a story that existed in the past history,” adding that “the great Husseini cause did not reach any other cause or any other place that relates to the infallible Imams, peace be upon them, with such skepticism, explaining that “billions of demons are trying to discredit the cause and the Husseini rituals, but they will be defeated in the end, and the memory of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, remains immortalized in the souls and hearts all over the world.”
