The arrival of the first batch of pilgrims to Mecca in preparation for performing Hajj

The Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs in Saudi Arabia confirmed that it is receiving the first batch of pilgrims to perform the Hajj rituals, amid intensive precautionary measures.
The Presidency published on its official Twitter account pictures showing the reception of pilgrims to the House of God, amid the precautionary measures, and social distancing.
The Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques also indicated that it “stands on the ground with the parties involved in serving the pilgrims.”
Saudi Arabia had announced that the Hajj season would be restricted to residents who had taken all their Covid vaccinations, while those coming from abroad were excluded for the second year, and 60,000 vaccinated citizens and residents will participate in this year’s season, which is a greater number than the 2020 Hajj, but it is much less than the usual Hajj seasons.
