Officials of the ‘Iqra’ application for teaching the Quran and Islamic sciences announced that there is an increasing demand for the application in five US states.
“The Quranic application includes programs to teach the Quran and Arabic electronically,” added the officials, stressing that there is a new and unprecedented demand for the application in five American states.
These states are New York, California, Michigan, Illinois and Texas and they will receive electronic resources and the supervision of a specialized team to teach the Quran to children and adults.
The founder of the application, Dr. Fahd al-Binali, said, “Our mission is to communicate with communities that include students, because through these university students we can get closer to local mosques and electronic events.”
The Iqra application teaches the Quran in addition to organizing Quranic competitions for students from all over the world to test their Quranic abilities.
