The Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service forces arrested five ISIS terrorists in three provinces.
The spokesman for the Armed Forces, Commander-in-Chief Yahya Rasool, said in a statement that “the formations of the Counter-Terrorism Service are continuing their duties to dismantle the cells of ISIS gangs.”
He added, “Our heroes began their first duty in the Tarmiyah area, north of the capital, Baghdad, where a notorious terrorist leader was arrested,” without giving further details..
He explained that a force from the agency arrested two members of the organization in the Al-Karma area, northeast of the city of Fallujah, in Anbar province.
Rasool pointed out that the security forces arrested a terrorist in the Kirkuk province, 250 km north of Baghdad, in a residential neighborhood, indicating that the fifth terrorist was arrested on the Karkh side, west of the capital, Baghdad.
