On Sunday, at least 31 soldiers were killed in northeastern Nigeria in an ambush by ISIS terrorist group.
According to Agence France-Presse, about twenty vehicles belonging to ISIS terrorists in West Africa attacked a military convoy in the town of Maynock near Maiduguri, the largest city in Borno state, the stronghold of the terrorist group in the northeast of the country.
An officer, who asked not to be named, said, “We lost 31 soldiers in the ambush that was set up by ISIS, including the commander.”
A second military source explained that the convoy was transporting weapons to Maiduguri when it was attacked.
