Iraqi forces cordon off four desert areas west of Anbar


The command of the First Brigade in Anbar, Colonel Salah Al-Issawi, announced cordoning off four desert areas, west of the province.
Al-Issawi said in a statement, that a security force from the First Brigade headquarters, in coordination with the rest of the military units, cordoned off the desert areas in the 160 Kilo area, al-Habariya and Wadi al-Qadf, west of Anbar, based on the intelligence information indicating the presence of a number of remains of ISIS terrorist cells in the targeted areas .
He added that the security forces cordoned off those areas after the Al-Kasra area was hit by mortar shells yesterday, indicating that information indicating the presence of a number of criminal ISIS elements attacked the security forces and citizens.
