Call to consider the challenges facing humanity ahead of the G20 summit in Riyadh

The International Nonviolence Organization, Free Muslim, welcomed the establishment of the G20 Summit, which is slated to be held on November 20 in Riyadh, expressing hope that the conference’s decisions would contribute to exceptional breakthroughs on the global economic, political and social levels.
The organization said in its letter, “The summit is taking place in an unprecedented atmosphere, after the human activity dominated the Corona pandemic and its repercussions resulted in costly effects, whether on states or peoples, which call for a review of the nature of international economic policies with regard to developing countries.”
It added that many countries have been burdened with previous debts and accumulations, which may threaten economic collapse, followed by serious crises whose damage is not limited to a region or continent in isolation, and without the slightest doubt that the spread of these repercussions will require high-cost confrontations at the level of the international community at all.
In its letter, the organization stressed the importance of taking into account the fateful humanitarian challenges facing humanity, stressing that the leaders and heads of the twenty countries bear an ethical and humanitarian responsibility according to their leadership positions, and there is a legal obligation to spare humanity the scourge of the suffocating crises that it is experiencing in current conditions.
