Start of manufacturing the grille of the Left Hand of al-Abbas in Karbala

Head of the Department of Manufacturing Grilles and Doors of Holy Shrines, affiliated with al-Abbas Holy Shrine, Mr. Nadhum al-Ghurabi, said, “Following the directives of the Secretary-General of al-Abbas Holy Shrine, our staff began the implementation and manufacture of a new grille for the Left Hand of al-Abbas, peace be upon him, after finalizing the design, which include inscriptions and decorations inspired from the Al-Abbas holy grille.”
He added, “The grille will be octagonal, and it is the first to be manufactured with this design, measuring a diameter of 3 meters and a height of 2.85 meters.”
Al-Ghurabi explained that the works on this grille are continuing in line with its technical specifications, pointing out that the department’s staffs implemented the entire project, starting from design through implementation, manufacturing and assembling, and ending with installation.
