2328 service tents in Babylon participated in the provision of services to Arbaeen pilgrims
Service tents in Babylon province have used all their capabilities to serve the pilgrims of Arbaeen, by providing food, accommodation, health and other services, which continue even after the pilgrimage.
The head of the Husseini Rituals and Processions Department at the two holy shrines, Riyad Salman, said, “2,328 service tents were spread in Babylon on all the routes taken by pilgrims leading to Karbala, this doesn’t include the unregistered tents and the citizens that have opened their doors to pilgrims since the first day of the blessed pilgrimage.”
He explained that these service tents do not only provide food and drink but other services including health and medical care.”
The members of the tents will join the walk and will go out on foot after all pilgrims have passed their tents in order to have two honors: the honor of serving the pilgrims and the honor of visiting Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
