Khalediya District Council announced the entry of the Anti-Terrorism forces as well as the army forces in Husaiybah area east of Ramadi, on Monday.

According to official sources, Head of the district council, Ali Dawood, said in a statement, “Today, military troops belonging to the Anti-Terrorism Directorate as well as the army forces, with support from the emergency police brigades, had managed to enter into the area of Husaiybah al-Sharqiyah, which lies seven kilometers east of Ramadi, after liberating the area of Joabh.”

Dawood added, “The resistance of ISIS is weak compared to the advance of our security forces.”
