For the fourth year in a row, Shia Muslims in Mexico City, along with a number of people of other religions, participated in the mourning procession in honor of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The march, which included a large number of Iraqi, Arab, Pakistani and Iranian mourners, roamed the streets of the capital, chanting Husseini slogans and raising condolence banners in honor of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
An art exhibition displaying pictures and paintings that embody the incident of Ashura was also organized.
