A Husseini procession from the Iraqi province of Diyala arrived to the holy city of Karbala carrying the longest Husseini banner in the world.

Sheikh Abdul Jaleel al-Zuhairi, the supervisor of the procession, said that mourners from both sects and differentethnicities participated in carrying the 2000-meter-long banner, adding that the banner also carries deep implications that reflect the mourners’ commitment in following the path of the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him.
