Popular Mobilization Forces said the office aims to foster the Quranic teachings
Head of the Quran Office of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces said the office aims to foster the Quranic teachings among the popular forces and counter the deviated ideology of ISIS terrorist group.
Abu Tahseen al-Najjar noted that the Quran office was established soon after the creation of the Popular Forces, adding that the office organizes various programs in line with its objective of spreading the Quranic culture and teachings among the fighters.
He said that earlier this year, the office held a Quran recitation session in commemoration of those killed in the Speicher massacre.
