IHTV Group appreciated the people’s efforts for holding this year’s ceremonies marking Arbaeen, expressing its thankfulness for those who made significant efforts to ensure the safety of Arbaeen pilgrims.

IHTV Group also appreciated the devoted and patient Iraqi people for hosting and serving the pilgrims.

The group thanked all media channels that follow the path of Ahlul Bait, peace be upon them, for the wonderful footages and pictures they broadcasted to the whole world amidst deliberate silence by international media towards such great peaceful gathering.

Arbaeen marks the 40th day after the martyrdom anniversary of the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and his faithful companions in the 680AD battle of Karbala.

Some 30 million Shia pilgrims from over 60 countries converged on Karbala last week to take part in Arbaeen mourning rituals.
