Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Imam al-Mahdi will eliminate injustice and establish state of truth
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, affirmed that the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his honourable reappearance) will, upon his appearance, remove all forms of injustice and falsehood that are carried out under the name of Islam and religion, establishing his rightful state based on the true and authentic Islam.
The Grand Marja’s statement was published on his official website on the occasion of the anniversary of the blessed birth anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his honourable reappearance). His Eminence said: “Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) will remove from the world everything that outwardly speaks in the name of Islam but inwardly contradicts it, and he will establish the state of truth for the true and authentic Islam.”
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi has consistently emphasized in scholarly sessions the importance of knowing Imam al-Mahdi, considering it an integral part of knowing Allah, the Almighty, and the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family). His Eminence stresses that knowing the infallible Imam of this age is a fundamental pillar for understanding the Islamic religion in its pure form, free from distortion and corruption.
The Supreme Marja’s statement comes in the context of his ongoing call to enhance awareness of Imam al-Mahdi and to understand the dimensions of his state, which will be based on justice and fairness. This state will restore the original values of Islam, which have been tarnished by manifestations of injustice carried out in its name throughout history.
