Shia Rights Watch (SRW), an international organization advocating for Shia rights, strongly condemned the recent terrorist bombing targeting Shia civilians in Quetta, Pakistan’s Balochistan province, resulting in numerous casualties.
The organization’s statement highlighted the ongoing attacks on Pakistan’s Shia population as a severe security and humanitarian crisis, urging the Pakistani government to protect its citizens and hold perpetrators accountable.
It noted that these sectarian attacks stem from extremist ideologies fueling hatred and violence and emphasized the need for more robust security measures. The organization also called for international intervention to pressure Pakistan to uphold human rights and protect religious minorities.
