50,000 attend London’s Global Peace and Unity Festival to promote coexistence
The Global Peace and Unity (GPU) Festival, held in London, concluded with over 50,000 attendees over two days. Organized by “Islam Channel”, the festival promotes peace and coexistence between Muslims and global communities.
Muhammad Ali Harrath, the festival’s director, highlighted the event’s success in bringing together scholars, thinkers, business leaders, and artists from diverse Islamic traditions, alongside strong youth and women representation.
The festival featured discussions on global issues, such as Palestine, and initiatives like the writing of the “London Quran” and the distribution of one million copies worldwide. The event also hosted a vast exhibition showcasing halal industries.
