IHC, Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation continue to drill more wells in remote villages of Afghanistan
The UK-based Imam Hussain Charity (IHC), in collaboration with the Holy Karbala-based Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development continues its humanitarian campaigns to support the most vulnerable groups and improve their living conditions.
Recently, IHC successfully drilled the 26th well in one of the remote areas of Afghanistan, which suffers from a severe shortage of drinking water.
According to officials, this project comes as part of the charity’s collaboration with Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation and in coordination with the office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi.
The officials expressed their happiness with the opening of this well, pointing out that this project will provide clean drinking water to hundreds of poor and underprivileged families living in areas suffering from water scarcity.
Through this effort, the charitable groups aim to improve the daily lives of needy families and reduce the suffering caused by the lack of water, reflecting their firm commitment to serving the community and addressing the needs of the most vulnerable groups.
