Council of Muslims in Germany prepares to hold its annual Open Mosque Day

The Coordinating Council of Muslims in Germany (KRM) is preparing to hold its annual “Open Mosque Day” across Germany, coinciding with German Unity Day on October 3rd, a day which serves as an opportunity for non-Muslims to visit mosques.

This event includes various activities aimed at building bridges between Muslims and followers of other faiths, and introducing Islamic values that promote peaceful coexistence within Germany’s multicultural society.

The Coordinating Council of Muslims in Germany initiated this annual event twenty years ago as a project of the Central Council of Muslims in Germany. This year’s theme is: “Every Soul is Precious”.

The Central Council of Muslims in Germany calls upon all mosques and Islamic centers to participate in the events of this day, enriching it with cultural and intellectual programs (lectures, seminars, workshops, and diverse open activities) that highlight the high value of preserving human life in Islam, based on the Holy Quran.
