Freemuslim calls on Arab and Islamic governments to release detainees on Holy Prophet’s blessed birthday

Freemuslim Association, a global anti-violence organization, has called on the rulers of Arab and Islamic countries to release political and civil detainees imprisoned for expressing their opinions, coinciding with the auspicious birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his family.

In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the organization congratulated the Islamic nation on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday, emphasizing the importance of seizing this blessed occasion to launch humanitarian initiatives that promote values of tolerance, forgiveness, and strengthen the bonds between communities and their leaders.

The Freemuslim stressed that the Prophet’s birthday is an opportunity to reflect on reform and to issue decisions that reinforce the values of citizenship, peaceful coexistence, and democracy in Islamic countries, calling for the release of detainees as a step towards enhancing the relationship between governments and their peoples.
