German party expresses its support for Imam Ali Mosque after it was attacked


The German Left Party and the Council of Muslim Communities in the German city of Hamburg expressed their support for the Imam Ali Mosque, peace be upon him, after it was attacked.
The head of the Council of Islamic Communities in Hamburg, Fateh Yildiz, said that some time ago, unknown men attacked the Imam Ali Mosque, peace be upon him, and wrote on its walls slogans offensive to the Islamic religion and Muslims.
He added, that this attack is evidence of the apparent hatred in society against Muslims and that it will certainly not stop.
The head of the Council of Muslim Communities criticized the extreme right’s orientations and its stance on the Islamic religion and Muslims, saying, “Their allegations are baseless and aim to provoke citizens against Muslims.”
In this context, the spokesman for the left-wing party in the Hamburg parliament, Ensa Tieten, warned of the escalation of attacks on Muslims, directing criticism for the position of the right-wing parties towards Muslims.
