The Women’s Quranic Institute, one of the centres affiliated to Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, has launched the national “Fidda” Quranic competition for memorizing the Holy Quran in Holy Najaf.
The competition aims to promote the culture of Holy Quran memorization among girls and encourage them to learn and understand its teachings.
Manar Al-Jubouri, the head of the Women’s Quranic Institute, stated that the institute has been organizing this competition for the sixth consecutive year, noting that the competition gains momentum and development with each new session.
Al-Jubouri added, “The first sessions of the ‘Fidda’ Quranic competition started with the participation of girls under the age of 18 from the provinces of Holy Najaf and Dhi Qar.”
These competitions reflect the commitment to promoting the values of the Holy Quran and spreading its teachings among various age groups, providing a platform for youth to express their abilities in Quran memorization and participate in religious activities that strengthen their connection with the Holy Book.
