Misbah Al-Husseini Foundation reiterates its readiness to serve orphans in Iraq
The director of the Ma’sbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development in the holy city of Karbala, Abdul Sahib Al-Kishwan, has expressed the organization’s full readiness to propose effective and impactful projects and programs to support the orphans in the holy city and across Iraq.
The foundation also discussed the possibility of cooperation with humanitarian organizations to serve this segment, a collaboration that has been successful through ongoing cooperation with the IHC humanitarian organization and the Imam Hussein Media Group.
After concluding the “Delight an Orphan” program (part two), Al-Kishwan stated, “Shifting towards purposeful and impactful programs to care for orphans in Iraq is important during this period due to their actual need for this humanitarian support.”
He explained in an interview with Shia Waves Agency, “The foundation invited a group of orphans and their guardians in Karbala province as part of the ‘Delight an Orphan’ project, which included an entertaining trip to an amusement park, followed by a dinner and the distribution of summer clothing and gifts to the participating orphans.”
Misbah Al-Husseini Foundation is one of the humanitarian centres affiliated to the office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in Holy Karbala.
