Morocco hosts first edition of Arabic Calligraphy and Noble Quran Exhibition
Coinciding with the fasting month of Ramadan, the Cultural and Arts Center in the Moroccan city of Safi is hosting the first edition of the Arabic Calligraphy and the Noble Quran Exhibition, which offers a unique opportunity to discover the cultural and artistic heritage of Morocco.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration between the Moroccan Club of Manuscripts, Coins, and Postal Stamps and the Regional Directorate of Culture in Safi, with support from the City’s Regional Council.
The events feature a display of several Noble Qurans dating back more than five centuries, highlighting the craftsmanship and traditional techniques involved in the production of the Noble Qurans.
The exhibition also presents a collection of paintings written in Arabic calligraphy, as well as papers and pottery adorned with Arabic calligraphy inscriptions.
