Imam Hussein Museum displays rare manuscript attributed to Imam al-Sajjad
Imam Hussain Museum has displayed a collection of precious historical artifacts, including a rare manuscript believed to be attributed to Imam Zain al-Abidin, peace be upon him.
Hussein Rahman Abdullah, the Maintenance Department manager at Imam Hussein Museum, said in a statement followed by Shia Waves Agency that “the museum houses a rare manuscript on gazelle skin containing the text of Surah Al-Qalam in Kufic script, believed to be from Imam Zain al-Abidin, peace be upon him.”
He pointed out that “this unique piece was presented as a gift to Imam Hussein Museum by a Kuwaiti visitor and is considered among the rarest artifacts in the museum, adding to a collection of other manuscripts that have been presented as gifts to the blessed museum.”
Abdullah emphasized that “Imam Hussein Museum receives many gifts and donations from its visitors and lovers of the holy Imams, enriching its historical content and contributing to documenting the Islamic cultural heritage.”
