Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in India holds annual Ramadan meeting for religious preachers, missionaries
The office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in India has held its annual meeting for religious preachers and missionaries during the holy month of Ramadan, with a focus on intensifying religious programs.
The director of the office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in India, Hujjat-ul-Islam wa-al-Muslimeen Sayyid Abbas Saif al-Naqvi, said that religious preachers have a great task to fulfill during the holy month of Ramadan, which is to guide people towards what is beneficial for them.
Sayyid Naqvi said in a statement to Shia Waves Agency: “The office of the Supreme Religious Authority in India held its annual meeting for religious preachers during the holy month of Ramadan to discuss the special programsof the blessed month.”
He added that “dozens of religious preachers, attended the meeting as discussions were held on the responsibilities of religious students during the holy month of Ramadan according to the recommendations of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi.”
Sayyid Naqvi pointed out that “the meeting resulted in several recommendations, including intensifying religious programs held throughout the days of the holy month, and making diligent efforts to educate people about the rulings of their noble religion and spread the knowledge of al-Thaqlayen, the Holy Book of Allah and Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”
