Mazar-i-Sharif-based office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi begins Ramadan charitable programs

The Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, north of Afghanistan, has announced its humanitarian and charitable programs for the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the statement released by the office, the charitable activities included the distribution of financial aids, food essentials and meat to hundreds of needy families in this city.

The organizers emphasized that these humanitarian initiatives are based on the instructions of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, who repeatedly reiterates the importance of providing needy and orphaned families with what they need.
