Thousands of children have been displaced in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo due to escalating violence between the Congolese army and M23 rebels.
Save the Children reported that around 78,000 children have fled their homes in the past week, with at least 150,000 people displaced overall.
The humanitarian group emphasized the urgent need to protect these innocent lives and called for accountability for crimes against children.
According to media reports, the clashes have led to reports of separated children and widespread destruction.
