———————————-
Malaysia has dispatched 40,000 translated copies of the Qur’an to the United States, Ivory Coast, and Ghana as part of a global Islamic outreach initiative, the Malaysian National News Agency Bernama reported.
The shipment was organised under the “One Million Qur’an Endowment Solidarity” programme, a project aimed at promoting Islamic values and enhancing understanding of the Qur’an around the world. The initiative is supported by the Nasyrul Quran Complex, the Restu Foundation, and Malaysian waqf donors.
According to officials, the 40,000 copies include Qur’ans translated into English and Spanish for distribution in the United States, and French and English editions for West African recipients in Ivory Coast and Ghana.
The Qur’ans sent are intended to support educational and interfaith efforts, helping readers of various linguistic backgrounds access the holy text with reliable translations.
