Muslim Board Chief Alleges Mass Removal of Voters in Bihar
————————–
The chief of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, has raised concerns about what he describes as the “mass removal” of Muslim voters in Bihar, calling it a “blatant injustice” that threatens democracy.

According to a report by Clarion India, Maulana Rahmani stated that the AIMPLB views the issue as a constitutional matter, not a political one. He urged all citizens who value justice to unite and protect the democratic values of India.

During his visit to Mumbai, Rahmani also condemned the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) bill passed in Uttarakhand, calling it unconstitutional and a disguised attempt to impose Hindu law. He confirmed that the Board has challenged the law in court. Additionally, he mentioned the ongoing protests against the Waqf Amendment Act, noting that the government is suppressing peaceful voices by not allowing a large public meeting in Mumbai. He added that the Board is preparing a roadmap to communicate its concerns to the government without resorting to confrontation.
