In Udaipur, India, a special ceremony was held Thursday to honor 192 Muslim students — 150 girls and 42 boys — highlighting the community’s commitment to education and spiritual growth. Organized by the Udaipur Foundation for Education and Training, in collaboration with the Rama Mehta Charitable Trust and the Mansuri Educational and Charitable Society, the event featured the distribution of meaningful gifts.
Each student received a copy of The Karbala Incident by Dr. Iqbal Sagar, a concise book documenting the historic events and spiritual lessons of one of Islam’s defining moments. The book aims to instill values of sacrifice, justice, and resistance in young hearts.
Students also received a pocket dictionary and a copy of Eidgah and Others by the renowned writer Munshi Premchand. The celebration included honors for outstanding social workers and a Muslim cricket player, showcasing a broader commitment to recognizing excellence and dedication within the community.
