Grand Ayatollah Shirazi highlights pivotal role of youth in shaping future of Islamic nation

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, emphasized the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future of the Islamic nation and stressed the need to engage them in religious, cultural, and service-related activities, directing their energy with sincerity and awareness toward serving Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

His remarks came during a meeting at his residence in the holy city of Qom with two delegations from Basra and the holy city of Kadhimiya. The first group included scholars and religious and social activists from Basra, while the second represented the servants of Al-Rasool Al-Azam Foundation, affiliated with the Grand Marja in Kadhimiya.

During the meeting, the delegations presented their cultural, social, and service activities, highlighting their efforts in serving religion and society, particularly during mourning seasons and pilgrimage events. Grand Ayatollah Shirazi praised their efforts, encouraging further development and expansion, with a strong emphasis on empowering youth as the foundation for the revival of Islamic societies.
