Indian newspapers publish fatwas of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi for blessed Ramadan

Several prominent Indian newspapers have published a series of fatwas (religious rulings) by Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, along with responses to various jurisprudential questions, in observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Sayyid Saif Abbas Naqvi, director of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s office in India, emphasized the significance of this initiative, noting that it aligns with the spiritual and religious practices of Ramadan.

Among the newspapers featuring these fatwas and responses are Sahafat, Nooruz, and Udaanama in Urdu, as well as Denik and Stakshi Shan in Hindi. The publication of these rulings aims to provide religious guidance to the Muslim community during the sacred month, addressing key jurisprudential concerns.
