Lebanon-based Al-Wa’y Al-Shirazi Channel, Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation distribute school bags to Lebanese students
Amid the ongoing Israeli attacks, the Holy Karbala-based Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development has announced an expansion of its humanitarian aid efforts to include support for Lebanese students.
The foundation’s initiative aims to provide a stable educational environment for students by distributing school bags, stationery, and other educational supplies, ensuring their continued education despite the harsh circumstances.
In a statement released on its official website, the foundation said that hundreds of school bags and essential educational supplies were distributed to children from displaced families in the affected areas of Lebanon, emphasizing that this campaign aims to integrate these students into the educational process, just like their peers in other regions.
The statement highlighted that this initiative was carried out in cooperation with the Al-Wa’y Al-Shirazi TV Channel in Lebanon, with the distribution overseen by the channel’s director, Mr. Hussein Al-Sha’ar, along with the Imam Hussein Media Group, under the supervision of the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Lebanon.
The foundation also ensured that the school bags were manufactured by Lebanese workers, aiming to support local industry and create job opportunities amidst the economic crisis gripping Lebanon. This initiative underscores the foundation’s contribution to the local economy alongside its humanitarian efforts.
The beneficiaries expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation and those responsible for these efforts, especially the Grand Marja, for their ongoing and extensive support in various aspects of life, affirming that this assistance reflects a spirit of solidarity and mutual support, especially in such a critical time when it is most needed.
