The Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) has documented more than 65 human rights violations by the ruling regime against the citizens in last May.
The rights center said that the violations documented include: subpoenas, arrests, raiding homes and abuse against political detainees.
In a report received by Shia Waves Agency, the BCHR said that, “The latest of these violations is the arrest of orator of Imam Jafar As-Sadiq Mosque in the Diraz region, Mohammed Sanqour, on May 22, following a sermon in which he condemned the change to school curriculum, and his call to reveal fate of political prisoners. He was freed on the 25th of the same month.”
On the notorious Jaw Prison, the center said that, “A series of violations committed against the prisoners who demanded that their rights be guaranteed and to be provided with medical care and that abuse against them should be stopped.”
The center also documented “Acts of violence against prisoners sentenced to death, as they were beaten by the prison guards who raided the prison under the pretext of inspection, while they took the prisoners, Mohammed Ramadan and Hussein Marzooq to an unknown destination.”
