Temporary grille of Zainabi Hill Site opens to pilgrims near Imam Hussain Holy Shrine


The Maintenance Department of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the completion of installing a temporary one-sided grille for the Zainabi Hill Site and laying the adjacent floor area, until the completion of al-Aqeelah Zainab Courtyard Project.
Head of Department, Karim al-Anbari, said in an interview, “The staff of our department, in cooperation with the Engineering and Technical Projects Department, has completed the work of installing a temporary one-sided grille for the Zainabi Hill Site and laying the adjacent floor area, which have been opened to pilgrims.”
The wall, of which the temporary grille is part, measures a height of 6 meters and a width of 24 meters from the side of Bab Al-Zainabiya near the Holy Shrine, and from the side of Al-Shuhada Street, the height will be 6 meters with a width of 45 meters.
The wall has a metal structure and the grille is made of teak wood.
The Zainabi Hill Site is part of the massive al-Aqeelah Zainab Courtyard Project, which is expected to be completed in 2022.
