Shia Rights Watch commends Iraqi government for its concerted efforts during Holy Arba’een
The Shia Rights Watch (SRW) confirmed today, Tuesday, that the Holy Arba’een Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, represents a rare divine opportunity in which the good manners of human beings of various types, races, ideas and beliefs come together.
In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, SRW appreciated and commended the efforts of the Iraqi government towards organizing and protecting this massive pilgrimage, calling on the officials to double their efforts to due to the high status of this event.
The organization said that it “closely monitored the progress of the recent Arba’een Pilgrimage and was satisfied with the facilities provided by the government to the pligrims to the holy city of Karbala from inside and outside Iraq.”
SRW emphasized that “The holy shrines, Hawzas and Husseini processions have the greatest role during the pilgrimage, which in general spared no effort for its success and to make the best of on the humanitarian, intellectual, cultural and social levels.”
The organization stressed in its statement that, “The Arba’een of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, attended by tens of millions of people from all over the world, represents an exceptional opportunity to spread the knowledge and culture of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, the true Islamic teachings, and the true nature on which Allah Almighty created the human beings.”
