World journalists commend organization, generosity shown by Iraqis during Holy Arba’een

Arab and foreign journalists have commended Iraq and its people for the safety and generosity the had shown during the Holy Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in Holy Karbala and other provinces the pilgrims trekked to arrive to the Holy Shrine, emphasizing that this pilgrimage changed the common stereotype about Iraq and the Iraqis.

They confirmed in their statements to the Iraq Media and Communications Committee that “Iraq and Iraqis have a spiritual energy to tirelessly recieve pilgrims from different countries,” adding that “We were pleased to by the invitation we received from the Iraqi Media and Communications Committee to cover the Arabeen Pilgrimage.”

It should be mentioned that the committee’s director, Ali Moayed, had earlier called on political analysts, in a conference held in Holy Karbala, to re-study the Iraqi society in light of an Arabeen-based vision.
