Shiites in Syria, Bahrain commemorate Arbaeen with mourning processions

Devoted followers of Ahlul-Bayt, peace be upon them, especially the young, publicly commemorated the Husseini Arbaeen in Syria and Bahrain, local media reported.

In Syria, Shiites in Damascus started their mourning procession from the holy shrine of Sayyidah Ruqayyah, peace be upon her, and continued to the holy shrine of Sayyidah Zaynab (peace be upon her), while the Mawakib on the way served them syrup, fruit, water, and food.

In Bahrain, Shia mourners came to the streets of the Al-Daraz area near Manama to participate in the ceremony and procession of Arbaeen.
