Ghana: Shia Muslims organize Hussaini mourning procession to commemorate Holy Arba’een Pilgrimage
A Hussaini mourning procession was organized in Ghana in commemoration of the Holy Arbaeen of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, amid a large participation from Shia Muslims in this religious occasion.
The procession was organized to commemorate the Arbaeen of the Master of Martyrs, coinciding with similar processions held in various countries around the world, in line with the massive Arbaeen Pilgrimage in Holy Karbala, Iraq.
According to images documented by Shia Waves Agency, the participants carried Hussaini banners and signs expressing their loyalty to the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, emphasizing that their goal is to convey the message of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, to the entire world.
The participants noted that commemorating the Cause of Imam Hussein strengthens unity and solidarity among Shia Muslims in Ghana and worldwide, affirming that remembering the tragedy of Karbala instills values of courage, patience, and steadfastness in the face of injustice and oppression, reinforcing their resolve to stand for justice.
