Pakistani Minister of Religious Affairs visits Najaf and Karbala to see facilities provided to Pakistani pilgrims


The Pakistani Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sahib Zada Noor Al-Haq Qadri, visited the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala on Sunday.
According to what was reported by (The Nation) newspaper, and followed by Shia Waves, “Qadri visited the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala, and met the Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussein al-Najafi, and discussed with him the achievement of unity and harmony between the Islamic nations.”
It added, “The two sides discussed developing a joint strategy to solve the problems facing the Islamic Ummah.”
It also indicated that “Qadri visited the holy city of Karbala to see the accommodation and facilities that are provided to Pakistani pilgrims who intend to visit the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussein and al-Abbas, peace be upon them.”
The Pakistani ambassador to Iraq Qadri accompanied the Minister and briefed him on the progress of the Pakistani House building in Karbala, which will host the Pakistani pilgrims during the revival of Ashura and Arbaeen.”
