Iraq: Minister of Electricity discusses Holy Arba’een preparations with Al-Abbas Holy Shrine

The Iraqi Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadhil, discussed with the local government of Holy Karbala the preparations and arrangements for the upcoming Holy Arba’een Pilgrimage.

The minister met with the chief advisor to the Legal Custodian of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, Eng. Talal Al-Bair, who briefed the minister with the shrine’s projects aimed at serving pilgrims and the local community.

Fadhil confirmed that the visit came to review the latest joint preparations between the Ministry of Electricity and the shrine’s administration concerning the arrangements for the month of Muharram and the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

These preparations are part of ongoing efforts to improve electricity services and provide the best possible service to the honorable pilgrims during religious occasions, which see millions of believers from around the world flock to the holy city of Karbala.
