Shia Muslims celebrate blessed birth anniversary of Imam al-Ridha

Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, celebrated the blessed birth anniversary of Imam Ali Al-Ridha, peace be upon him, today, Sunday, corresponding to the 10th of Thul-Qidha.

The celebratory ceremonies began ten days ago, with Husseiniyas and Holy shrines decorated and adorned with banners and signs carrying quotes of Imam Ali Al-Ridha, peace be upon him.

The Supreme Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah, Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has called upon Muslims around the world to revive the ‘Ten Radhwi Period ’ to mark the blessed birth of Imam al-Ridha, peace be upon him.

Shia Waves Agency carried out its media coverage of this joyful event in in Holy shrines in Iraq, Syria and Iran, and said that pilgrims emphasized their commitment and loyalty to their Imams, peace be upon them.
