Egyptian publishing organization includes Shirazi-affiliated Hussainiyas, mosques in its global introductory directory
The “Aref Encyclopedia”, an Egyptian publishing organization, has included a number of Shia Hussainiyas and mosques, affiliated to Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, in its global introductory directory for the purpose of introducing them to its readership.
The encyclopedia stated on its website, as reported by Shia Waves Agency, that it “aims to provide a comprehensive Arabic encyclopedia with international standards and a reliable guide in all fields.”
It continued: “the encyclopedia includes multiple classifications covering all aspects of knowledge to reach the largest number of internet users around the world.”
The publishing organization mentioned that “there is a large number of mosques and Hussainiyas around the world that are affiliated the Supreme Religious Authority of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi.”
The encyclopedia classified these mosques and Hussainiyas and their websites, in addition to providing a brief introduction to their identity and their religious and ritual activities.
Among the prominent Shirazi mosques and Hussainiyas are the Imam Sadiq Mosque in Kuwait, Ahlul Bayt Mosque in Canada, Qassab Hussainiya in Bahrain, al-Rasul al-Adham Hussainiya in Kuwait, and al-Rasul al-Adam Hussainiya in London.
The administrators of these mosques and Hussainiyas, under the guidance of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, seek to hold the rituals of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, throughout the year, witnessing a large attendance by citizens and Shia communities.
