Egyptians casting votes to elect their next President

Egyptians started voting today in the presidential election that will last until Tuesday, with the official results to be announced on December 18.

Four major candidates, including the incumbent President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, are vying for the office, when most projections indicate the current political power will secure victory.

According to reports, about 67 million Egyptian citizens out of the country’s 106 million population are eligible to vote in the presidential elections, who will cast their votes in 9376 election centers.
