World Nonviolence Organization commends Cairo Peace Summit, sends message to leaders
The World Nonviolence Organization (Freemuslim) commended the efforts of the organizers of the Cairo Peace Summit, demanding that these efforts contribute to ending the ongoing conflict in accordance with the principle of justice, the resolutions of international legitimacy, and based on the two-state solution.
The organization said in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency that it “considers holding the summit in this exceptional circumstance with such large participation of Arab and Islamic countries and other world countries, represents an important opportunity for the Palestinian issue in particular and the reduction of armed conflicts in the region in general.”
It pointed out that the Arab, Islamic, and all people are now looking forward to a final solution to the tragedy of the Palestinian people, and that it is no longer possible to ignore their suffering.
The organization confirmed to the leaders, who attended the conference, that the international and regional circumstances strongly encourage the imposition of solutions to the Palestinian issue, especially after the recent developments in Gaza, and that the opportunity to establish a free and independent state for the Palestinian people is closer to being achieved than before.
